there are a few things exciting about valentines day...
pink heart shaped cookies and brownies on the mess deck... 40 degree weather walking too and from classes... finding out my professor was dumped by his girlfriend 5 years ago and he never found anyone else because hes still an emotional wreck...
and then thinks he can find pleasure in assigning us all a 5 page paper due the day after tomorrow just because he hates love and everything to do with it... but i guess thats life

on the flip side,
i just spent $65 sending a dozen roses to my sweetheart.... alot of money for a college student, yea... but ill tell you what... when you realize how crazy you are about that one person in your life, nothing else matters.... nothing..
including money!
$65 on a bunch of flowers.... hopefully some day that $65 turns into $6500 and those roses turn into a nice ring =)
(and when that time comes ill give it to her AFTER 3pm... not 2:20pm and ruin the surprise.... i hate flower people)
but enough about that...
there are plenty of people out there that hate this day... simply because they don't have anyone special to spend it with.... well people out there in internet world i have a nice little lesson for you all...
you don't need a significant other to have an amazing valentines day... you simply need a friend
go out to lunch... catch a movie... doesn't matter if they are same sex... after all... its called valentines day... not sex day...
